The last thing you want is to get pulled over for a tint violation. But, you already know that! - The expense of having it put on in the first place, the expense of the ticket, the expense of getting it taken off and cleaned up, the expense of having it redone legally... Do we sound like Mom or Dad? Maybe. Tint laws are more than fair, especially with the latest heat rejecting technologies available.

We agree that darker windows look Cool, but the laws are for your safety, the safety of other drivers and the safety of Law Enforcement Officers. Nothing yells, "Come And Get Me", louder than illegal tint. Those who have it, and haven't been "Busted" yet, are kidding themselves. The day will come! Also, if an accident is caused by illegal tint, a smooth faced lawyer could take that vehicle owner to "The Cleaners." And worse, the Insurance Company may sue for damages too. It's just NOT worth it.

«I was pulled over for a tail light being out one day. I was also asked if my tint was legal. It was a rainy and cloudy day which probably made it look darker. I let the Officer test it because he asked me to state if it was or wasn't legal. The test meter said 38%, so I was good. Thankfully I did it legal. If it was too dark, I would have an expensive ticket to pay. All I got was a repair order for the tail light. No fine. Thankfully!»
